What Happens Next?
Five Stages of a Claim

Our claims process is simple, paper free and we’ll aim to resolve it quickly. Here’s what will happen when you claim:

Ring us and we'll tell you if your claim is covered – if you are, we'll register your claim straight away. Please have your policy documents to hand. If you have suffered a break-in or lost any property outside your home – call the Police straight away and make a note of the crime reference number. Small claims may be settled immediately over the phone – it will help if you can estimate the cost of repair or replacement of the items concerned. For all large claims, we'll arrange for a claims adviser or loss adjuster to visit you as soon as possible. An S&P Direct approved specialist or supplier may be appointed to deal with the claim on our behalf. We will always aim to settle your claim with the minimum of fuss. We have a dedicated, UK based Claims Team who are there to make your claim as stress free as possible.
